🌶️ Masala Rice with Leftover Rice
🕒 Prep Time: 10 mins
🍳 Cook Time: 10–12 mins
🍽️ Serves: 2

🧂 Ingredients:
Leftover cooked rice – 2 cups
Left over Curry

Oil – 2 tbsp


Cumin seeds – ½ tsp


Onion – 1 medium (sliced)



Green chilies – 1-2 (slit)

Chopped Ginger-garlic – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Coriander Powder - 1tbsp

Red chili powder – ½ tsp

whole Garam masala (cardamom, cinnemon)
Pickle - 2 tsp
Egg - 2

Salt – to taste

Coriander leaves – for garnish
Dry Red Chilli

Optional: chopped capsicum, peas, or carrots for extra flavor

🔥 Instructions:
Heat oil in a pan. Add Whole Garam Masala, Red Chilli cumin seeds. Let them splutter.


Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell goes away.

Add , green chilies, and sliced onions. Sauté till onions are golden.


Add turmeric, red chili powder, and Coriander Powder Mix well.

(Optional) Add chopped vegetables and cook until soft.

Add the leftover rice and salt. Mix everything gently so the rice doesn't break.

Cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes until the masala coats the rice well.

Make Omlett .

Garnish with Omlett & chopped coriander leaves.

Use refrigerated rice straight or bring it to room temperature before cooking.

Add a squeeze of lemon juice for extra zing! 🍋
