We bought Mafia 2 for 7.49€ and it was fun!!

Although released in 2010, still holds some value in 2024, especially for fans of open-world games and mafia-themed stories.

*Positives:*
*Story:* The game's narrative remains strong, with classic mafia elements, dynamic characters, and a compelling atmosphere that immerses you in the 1940s-1950s.
*Atmosphere:* The world design, classic cars, and music perfectly capture the era, making you feel like you're living in that time.
*Graphics (Definitive Edition):* With the updated Definitive Edition, the graphics have improved, making it visually more appealing, though it may not compete with modern titles.

*Negatives:*
*Gameplay:* While the story is still good, the gameplay may feel a bit outdated compared to modern open-world games. Combat and driving mechanics are somewhat simplistic and don’t offer much challenge.
*Open World:* The world is beautifully crafted but lacks engaging activities. There isn’t the same variety of things to do as in newer games, which can make exploration feel a bit empty.

*Overall:* Mafia II remains an interesting experience for its story and atmosphere. While the mechanics have aged, it's worth playing for fans of mafia stories or if you find it on sale.
