After my experiment to see if I could record songs with an electric guitar amp and a single mic in a room has proved fruitless, I have spent a lot of time today exploring some variables to improve my electric guitar/song recordings. This better version of the Runrig song "Rocket to the moon" is the result. I have changed my guitar and mic choices, as well as dumping my amp-in-the-room experiment and returning to the direct-to-recorder approach. I think it is a bit better.

The song is all about the Scottish Diaspora and has long been one of my favourite Runrig songs.
