MY SPEECH AT THE POLICE EVENT IN MAIDSTONE(REN)

Sooooo… I was invited by Kent Police , at the Police College in Maidstone, during the REN event to PROMOTE my forthcoming conference by giving a talk and singing. So blessed to be invited to do this twice in a year! God be praised for the opportunity which I don’t take for granted. I will share a video of my session soon.

For little old me to share a platform with top bosses and speakers can only be a blessing from God

And yes, the police car was my transportation to and fro. I promise you that I am not a diva ❤️ 🙏 😅🙈

Although it was not the first time I would be speaking at a police event, I felt unexplainably nervous and was not as spontaneous as I would have anticipated, regardless of the multiple rehearsals I engaged in. I did a quick overview of the process and tried to see what was different and the only difference is the use of slides and I had to be sure that all I said was in consonance with the slides.

Also, I was overly conscious that I was sharing the platform with top bosses and great speakers and I had to role play too 😜😅

I am glad that the feedback was encouraging and my nerves didn’t shine through but was noticed by my daughter.
