What if your seed was better equipped to succeed?
Taurus is proving the importance of protecting seeds from stress and getting a crop off to a strong start – through the inclusion of several advanced products in its plots at the 2018 Ag In Motion exhibition.

Nutritional seed dressings are one way a grower can help the crop by providing the plant with immediate access to essential nutrients right out of the gate. All seed in the Taurus Advanced Acre™ plots was treated with Active Prime™: an advanced dressing featuring a “smart molecule” called Intrinsic™. A key advantage of Intrinsic is that it works at the molecular level to protect the seedling against abiotic stresses such as drought or excessive moisture.

The Driven Efficiencies plots included Active Prime™, as well as another highly innovative product called Crystal Green®. This continuous release root-activated phosphorus fertilizer has been designed to lower the salt index – offering added seed safety (and increasing seed viability) while benefiting the environment.

2018 Plant Count Update
Taurus conducted plant counts at our Ag In Motion plots on June 11th. We have seen significant differences between our check plot (created with a high-end fertility package) and the Taurus Advanced Acre and Taurus Driven Efficiencies plots. These counts reflect the impact of an integrated approach involving several advanced products and production strategies.
