#Dacoity Gang of Nepal Nationality Nabbed by Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team and Karkhana Police, Hyderabad City*

On *08-12-2025*, based on credible intelligence, the Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team, along with Karkhana Police, apprehended and arrested a Nepali gang involved in a dacoity at the residence of *Capt. D.K. Giri (Retd.)*, Plot No. 210, Gunrock Enclave, Road No. 12, Karkhana, Secunderabad.

The accused forcibly confined and assaulted the victim, looted gold ornaments weighing about *23 tolas*, and decamped with *₹95,000 cash*.

MODUS OPERANDI

The complainant initially approached an agency, M/s Rajbir and Company*, to hire a Nepali couple as domestic workers. The agency contacted *Mahendra Shahi and Upendra Shahi to arrange servants.

Both conspired criminally to loot the complainant’s house by planting Raj Bahadur Shahi and Rekha Devi Rawal as a fake married couple. Rekha travelled from Mumbai, and the duo joined the complainant’s residence on *21-10-2025*.

Later, all accused convened at *Puran Singh’s room in Tolichowki*, planned the dacoity, and waited for the right moment.

During the night of *15/16-11-2025*, the accused:

Entered the house,
Tied the victim’s hands and legs,
Assaulted him,
Snatched his jewellery,
Searched the house,
Stole additional jewellery and cash, and fled.

They later divided the stolen property, switched off their phones, split into groups, and escaped from Hyderabad.
