Three young women, all seemingly undergoing some sort of psychosis, are taken into custody by the authorities. Each one of these women then suffered tragic event. Richardson was released from police custody in the wee hours of the morning and wandered out into isolated area and her skeletal remains wasn't found for another month. Eilman was released be the police and wandered around the street of Chicago, ending up in a stranger's 7th floor apartment from and plummeted from the window, miraculously surviving the fall but requiring care for the rest of her life. Zuk was on holiday in Egypt when she was taking to a hospital and threw herself out a second-floor window, dying a few hours later from her injuries

Did the authorities make mistakes in their handling of these three women in their moment of mental crisis? Did Richardson being turned out of jail end with her being murdered? Was Eilman raped and thrown out the window by a vicious character she should never have come in contact with? Was Zuk being sold into the sex trade and was she really pushed out the window? What actually happened to each of these women who was at fault?
