Threadfin Rainbow Fish - Variations, Historic Background and Basic Care of "Feather Fins"

This is an overview of basic rainbowfish history care and some extra trivia and behavioral information.

The threadfin rainbowfish also known as the featherfin rainbowfish, is a great aquarium species. Be it a centerpiece for a long delicate Aquascape, or a densely populated Community tank this fish is a dynamic and interactive one. There is extreme sexual dimorphism between male and female which is always a surprise to the owner as they grow older and their markings change based on their care parameters and stress level.

This is likely not the best beginner fish, however with some basic information and care outlined in this video, any hobbyist can successfully keep, and likely breed this beautiful, peaceful fish.
