This is the story of a young German Officer, who was thrown into the battle of Berlin in 1945. His story like many is tragic, a story of little or no hope, in a battle long lost.

In his last letter, he describes that he feels there is for him no hope to go on. His grave among many others all killed in the final days of WW2 in Europe.

His full story is featured in my book (Battlefield Berlin) due out in February 2019.

They fell in action, and thus are considered victims of war, as a NGO member responsible for finding missing soldiers from both wars, regardless of nationality I do not see any of the fallen in a political context, simply historical.
