Almost 400 local business people attended the Eastbourne Business Awards at the Winter Garden on Friday September 30th for a spectacular black tie celebration.

The atmosphere of excitement was contagious as many business people enjoyed their first major event since lockdown, which started with a sparkling drinks reception sponsored by Handelsbanken.

After a lovely three course meal, entertainment was provided by the amazing Singing Secret Waiters who got everyone on their feet with operatic numbers like Amore and Nessum Dorma.

It was great to see the audience let their hair down with a huge conga line and a Can-Can performance! Then they danced the night away with the X-Factor finalist Lloyd Wade and his superb Soul Man Band.

The quality of finalists was excellent. The judges had a very difficult job as many companies in each category were so close to the winners. They had to choose winners however and were looking for businesses that were slightly different; that offered exceptional customer service, looked after their staff in all sorts of ways and also supported the community with charitable work and volunteering.
