We will be showing a pre-production model of this latest entry into the Personal Mobility and Transportation Vehicle market for Hawaii and the U.S. at the Hawaii Business Expo. The Expo is being held from April 18-20, 2014 at the Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.

Compared to other products on the market, its streamlined design boasts a smaller overall footprint and it only weighs in at about 52 pounds due to its use of a Very Strong, and yet Very Light Weight Magnesium Alloy frame and Hi-Tech Poly-Carbonate Resins (LEXAN VisualFX) and polymers... That's less than half the weight of the leading competitor! The lower unsprung mass/weight makes it very nimble, much easier to control and easy to transport in the trunk of your car.

This unit also has a riding platform that is both lower to the ground and below the center of the wheels. As opposed to having the platform above the center axis of the wheels, this configuration allows for a lower center-of-gravity making it very easy to mount and operate as compared to some other Self-Balancing vehicles on the market.

This is a 100% Electric vehicle that has a nominal Top speed of 12.4 mph using a 2700 Watt dual DC motor configuration giving it plenty of torque when needed. Maximum speed can be affected by terrain and payloads above 220 pounds (100 Kg).

Maximum range per charge is 15.5 miles (25 km) when using the standard LiIon Battery Module. When using the supplied standard 100~220VAC 1.5A charger it consumes less than 1 KWh (~660 Watts) over the 4 hour maximum time it takes to charge a fully depleted Standard Dual LiIon Battery pack replaceable Battery Module. There is an optional 100~220VAC Rapid Charger available that can charge the vehicle provisioned with the standard battery in 2 hours. There is also an optional, and easily user replaceable, High-Capacity Battery Module available that has a maximum range of 24.9 miles (40 Km), maximum charging times of 6-7 or 3-4 hours respectfully. Maximum range can be affected by terrain and payloads over 220 pounds (100 Kg).

Maximum Payload capacity is between 220-330 pounds (100-150 Kg), however, optimum performance is attained with payloads up to 220 pounds (100 Kg).

Bluetooth...? YES, it also has Bluetooth connectivity for use with the free "Ninedroid" Smartphone App that is available to monitor and program the features of the "Ninebot E Mini Flight". The free "Ninedroid" App is currently available online for iOS devices on the Apple App Store, and for Android devices on Google Play.

There is also a 5V-1A USB port built into the upper section of the control bar to charge your phone or run a USB powered bicycle light.

Final production models are expected to be available in May 2014.

Due to the extensive use of modern robotic engineering practices and Hi-Tech metallurgical & polymer manufacturing materials Ninebot is able to produce an advanced Self-Balancing Personal Transportation Robot at a lower price. The MSRP for the U.S. market will be $3499.00. That's about half the price of the leading competitor in the Auto-Balancing 2-Wheeled Vehicle market (Segway).
