Decoding Stoma Shapes

Hello GutSquad! Coming at you with an informative video about the various shapes of stomas, what they mean, and some of their causes. As I mention (ad nauseum) in this video, please consult your surgeon, ostomy nurse, and/or GI if you experience any of the problems I mentioned. They can become very serious if left untreated. Stomas naturally fluctuate in shape/size as you heal after your stoma operation, and even throughout the day with normal peristalsis. The examples shown in this video are usually the extremes of stoma changes and shouldn’t be taken lightly.
