QOTD: what did you learn how to swim?

AOTD: 7 years old. When I was 2, I had a chance to learn how but I was too scared. Then for another 5 years I’ve had many many incidents when I almost drowned which got me more terrified. But then I saw all the fun people did have swimming so I decided to try myself. It took a lot of time and courage but I got there.
