Kingdom come Deliverance looks quite nice on PC, yet there is space for some improvements. One way is ReShade, which can add a lot of nice effects to the game. Especially ambient occlusion doesn't look too great in houses. MXAO as part of ReShade fixes this problem and makes a huge difference. There is also the option to add volumetric fog via console command. IMHO it doesn't always look great, I think there is a reason why this isn't activated by default. The performance impact of MXAO is not that huge, with my system it was about 1-2 fps. The impact of volumetric fog is higher, about 3-4 fps.

Kingdom Come Deliverance sieht auf dem PC ziemlich beeindruckend aus. Trotzdem gibt es an manchen Stellen noch Raum für Verbesserungen. Ein Beispiel ist die Umgebungsverdeckung, die besonders in Innenräumen keine gute Figur macht. Umgebungsverdeckung dient dazu, dass sich Objekte durch Kontaktschatten abheben und so plastischer wirken. Hier kommt MXAO ins Spiel, das Teil von ReShade ist. Der Leistungsverlust ist relativ gering, mit unserem Testsystem waren es 1-2 fps.
