I recorded these pieces on the same days as    • Nils Frahm - Selected Works | perform...  
But the choice of the music and the order here is a bit different. And the old vintage Steinway & Sons grand piano model O made in 1926 as an alternative to a muffled upright piano on previous record. Due to technical issues with the computer on which all the audio was recorded I couldn't complete this project back then - but finally I do it today.

1) Sheets! - most of the pieces (and even more) you can download at Annemie Van Riel website - http://www.annemievanriel.be
2) Too fast! - Yes, sometimes. Maybe. At that moment when I was recording these pieces, I hadn't yet heard the originals, so of course this was a spontaneous bpm choice. Also, to be honest, I see no point in copying the originals.
3) Piano is out of tune! - Yes, absolutely. (but I like when this old little Steinway gets out of tune)

*Nils Frahm (born 20 September 1982) is a German musician, composer and record producer based in Berlin. He is known for combining classical and electronic music and for an unconventional approach to the piano in which he mixes a grand piano, upright piano, Roland Juno-60, Rhodes piano, drum machines, and Moog Taurus.

As well as his solo work, Frahm has released collaborations with such notable performers as Anne Müller, Ólafur Arnalds, F. S. Blumm and Woodkid. Together with Frederic Gmeiner and Sebastian Singwald he records and performs as Nonkeen.
