Now, the Chief Digital Office is developing an approach that emphasizes common standards and support for responsible data and enables data-sharing between public agencies and utilities focusing on maximizing public value while minimizing potential harmful impacts.
Broward County, Florida, is leading the way with innovative digital tools to manage threats like sea level rise and extreme heat and engaging residents in this resilience planning process.

While cities' strides in the past years have been impressive, they still have much potential to harness.
