This is a rerelease from a year-and-a-half prior, where the only edit I made was adding the tab. Dying Fetus’ Subjected to a Beating became an instant classic brutal death metal anthem. From the original upload: “This song slays so hard! I’m pleased with this performance since it was one take and basically just a jam, a great fix for when I miss being on a stage. I had a slight pickup problem at 4:10 but the show must go on! I didn’t play the leads perfectly either, but again I was pleased with how it turned out for one take. Please enjoy and give me a thumbs up!”

Notes about the TAB and playing:
1. Pinch harmonics - at measures 88, 92 etc, I forgot to label these as PM, but you should be able to see where to do the squeal!
2. Live footage shows this riff is actually played in a position higher up the neck, but these are the right notes.
3. Sweeping part at measure 111 is definitely played sloppy, but this is the correct way to play it. Lots of online tabs get this part wrong!
4. There may be a few (minor) parts that I mess up or play differently - always go with the tab.

When preparing tabs, I use track separation software to isolate guitars and slow down tempos in order to hear all of the intricacies. I remove the guitar when recording myself, so what you hear is all me! I use as much live footage as I can find in additon to official music videos in order to see the proper positions of certain riffs. Tabs will sometimes not be perfect, but, the tabbing process is exhaustive and I make every effort to give you the most accurate tabs possible!
