Just making some Tteokbokki...

Tteokbokki | Rice Paper Tteokbokki | 쌀종이 떡볶이 | 떡볶이

Today's menu is 'Tteokbokki' with a twist.
This recipe uses rolled up 'rice paper + sliced cheese' to replace Tteok (rice paper).
I'm not sure who first came up with this idea but It's amazing.
It became really popular last month I think (yes. I know I'm late to the party... AGAIN) and I finally decided to give it a try.
It takes some time to roll all those 'rice paper cheese tteok' but it was definitely worth it.
It has a really unique texture (somewhat close to tteok but not really tteok... kinda hard to explain lol) and it's really fun to chew + Really tasty.
If you want to make real tteokbokki with real tteok, just replace the rice paper in this recipe with tteok :)
