This chant was written by Anake Edith Kanakaole, who was actually my dads kumu and boy scouts den mother in Keaukaha way back in the day. I never met her myself, but I have heard so many stories about her and I am honored to continue giving life to this beautiful oli she has created. It is asking to grant knowledge, including all the hidden things everywhere. I love it.
