It’s got the saucy, spicy kick of Manchurian packed inside a soft bun that feels straight out of a hot dog stand. It’s the best of both worlds: the comfort of a hot dog with the bold flavours of Manchurian.

Perfect for when hunger strikes and you want something fun, quick, and super satisfying.

Ingredients

For the Manchurian Logs (Seekh Style)
1 cup cabbage
½ cup carrot
¼ cup capsicum
2 tbsp spring onion greens
2 tsp garlic
1 inch ginger
2 green chilies
2 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp soy sauce
½ tsp chili sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
Oil for frying
For the manchurian sauce:
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
2 green chilies, finely chopped
2 tbsp spring onion whites, finely chopped
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp red chili sauce
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1–2 tsp schezwan sauce
1 ½ cups water
1 tbsp cornflour + 2 tbsp water (slurry)
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp spring onion greens

Method
1. Heat oil in a wok or pan.
2. Add garlic, ginger, and chilies, sauté till aromatic
3. Ads spring onion whites stir-fry for 1 min.
4. Stir in soy sauce, chili sauce, ketchup, schezwan.Mix well.
5. Add water, bring to a boil.
6. Lower heat, add cornflour slurry, and cook till the sauce thickens and turns glossy.
7. Adjust salt and pepper.

For Chinese Bhel Topping:
1 cup fried noodles
¼ cup finely chopped capsicum
¼ cup grated carrot
2 tbsp spring onion greens
3 tbsp Schezwan sauce
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
