MekaVerse is one of the most successful NFT collectibles launches generating more than $60 million worth of sales within a 24-hour span last week.

Since the launch, a number of allegations have surfaced on social media suggesting that some buyers may have had early access to the metadata, or the information that describes which attributes each NFT image contains. That data could have been used to purchase rare NFTs, sight unseen.

Boonji - When Boonji attempted to go live they were hit with a malicious bot attack that slowed their server and attempted to mint multiple NFTs to various wallets. Boonji shut down that attempt but in the process crashed their site. They are now actively working to grow their whitelist so that real people will have the opportunity to purchase instead of bots run by whales.
