I'm a firm believer the truth will always come to light. Maybe not right now. Maybe not soon. But boyyyy u Better shol believe eventually. And this is time that the UNOFFICIAL RACIST POLICIES that Houston's Restaurant blatantly use on minorities guests and employees need to change!!

So I've been contemplating on whether or not to do cuz I let go and forgave the situation but Jay Morrison, Ernestine Johnson, T.I, Tiny, Yandy, and Ms Deb…have inspired me to speak up and fight the good fight right here in Houston.

My plans to sue them came to an end when I reached out to one if Houston's top African American activist and he told me I would need the same $1500 of the severance package to pay him to start my case against Houston's. I didn't have the money to do that esp when I Had no clue where my next dollar was coming from so I backed off. And decided to let God take care of me and that situation. Now look, Houston's themselves have opened a platform to tell my story for free during a time when people are now listening. Small voices like mine don't count until somebody famous take notice of the situation. Even the eeoc didn't acknowledge my complaint. So now is the time perfect and perfect way to be heard so Houston's aka hillstone group can retrain their managers and Change some of their unjust unofficial racist policies.

But what I know about Houston's management from years of managers coming and going of at least 40 of them if not more in 10 years, most of them are extremely arrogant. I've met some result good ones and who actually cared about us and the customers. But that def was not the majority. I remember one manager came and threw a cheesecake in the trash that was noted as not salable. And he Blatantly, because he could threw it away in our faces. Then I had a friend who had a death in her family and this 25 yr old manager was so mean and inconsiderate about her situation. But I also remember the best gm while I was working would have the kitchen cook us steak, ribs, rotisserie chicken and fries to show his appreciation. And it was the same GM who stepped in to console and accommodate whatever this young lady needed for her time off to be with her family with pay. But that man was rare. He was also old school. He didn't care what color u were, he just cared that you took care of his restaurant and guests. Somehow Houston's Aka hillstone got away from that and started hiring these inexperienced 23 yr olds cuz they could pay half the salary of someone experienced and who knew nothing about customer service nor employee appreciation nor common sense.

Kitchen guys. They made it so unbearable to work by belittling them or shortening their hours to make them quit. Like Sam they made up a lie cuz it was nothing they could do to get rid of him. He has his 3 girls to take care of so he accepted the abuse just to make his paycheck.

Justice is blind. It has no color. Nor does the dollar!
