Reb Nosson's Yortzeit is tonight, and he says: ואדרבא, זה העיקר שמחתי - this is the exact source of joy, שמרוחק כמוני - that someone as far as me, יזכה גם כן להניח תפילין בכל יום.

Can you imagine the amazing "Aha" moment that happens when a מרוחק כמוני actually does something beautiful for the king? The contrast is so stark and so extreme that it brings out a tremendous laughter and tremendous joy tremendous חידוש.

And whatever situation you're in you can always flip it on its head and realize that "Oh wow, I'm not in a good place - that's going to make my connection to Hashem so much more meaningful"... Today.
