I am Saumya, a first year student of MSc Applied Microbiology from Banaras Hindu University. I have graduated in Microbiology itself from the University of Delhi. Through this channel I aim to promote pure sciences as a career option. If you’ve ever found yourself wondering what to do in case you couldn’t get into medicine or engineering, this place’s for you! I would share the experiences I have gained from my internships at NIMHANS, Bangalore and ACBR, DU. My participation in workshops at IIT Delhi and AIIMS Delhi have taught me the values of interdisciplinary research. This video (Part 1) covers my journey at ACBR during SURP as a summer intern. I talk about how I got there, my learnings and the mistakes I made. I try to visually run this story through my gallery.
