What is the condition of the big cats today?

To be frank with you guys it is bad. The populations of these big cats in 1900 was mor than 70,000. But because of habitat distruction and poaching the population had decreased badly. It is now less than 10,000 average for any species of big cats.
How can we succeed?
1.PREVENT ILLEGAL KILLING
We have to stop those illegal hunting of big cats. This is the most disappointing thing. Every big cat is killed in a day. We have to stop that. What we can do as a citizen is to convey the messages to others and warn them about this.

2.REDUCE CONFLICT WITH HUMANS
Often villages near the forest gets attacked by the wild animals. These people think the animals are coming into their habitat. No we have destroyed their habitat and living for our own good. These people should realise that and learn to lve with wild animals.
3.Deforestations
This is because of greed in human beings. We do have large place to live excluding forests. Then why are we destroying their habitat and living happily. This has actualy come little down because of peoples awareness.

Positive side.
But now the younger generation and the people are warned and they all are trying to bring the populations back in control. Deforestation has reduced and poachers are punished. All the government are trying their level best in bringing back the populations in their hand.
