Subject: QUEZON CITY SPORTS CLUB DETAINED EMPLOYEES

After the Union Election for which the employees won over the Management, series of harassment follows. Employees who still have remaining vacation leave credits were forced by the Management to use them. They scheduled the forced leave for them on batch by batch basis. While the employees were on leave, they hired new sets of employees to replace their positions. After rendering the forced leave, upon returning to work, some employees weren't able to go back to their work because someone already took place of their posts. To mention the positions, there are 1 Disbursement Clerk, 1 Audit Clerk, 2 Billing Clerks, and 1 Purchasing Clerk. These 5 regular employees, all ladies, were given a memorandum that they are temporarily relieved of their responsibilities and will report daily at the Orientation Room. Upon seeing the room, Employees were shocked that the said Orientation Room was a Stock Room. When you say Office Room, it should have office equipments and have a nice working environment. As the days pass by, These employees were not given things to do or work for. They were instructed by the guards, who were retired Armies (Magdalo) and navies. All of them are Male. That they will not do anything, No Talking, No Reading or they will have to face the War.
Whenever they have to leave the room to go to some place, they should be escorted by these guards. These guards were instructed by the management that if the detained employees will not follow them, Foul Words will be allowed to say to them by the guards.
What the Management is doing to these detained employees is traumatic, causing Mental Torture, and Emotional Turmoil. Each of these employees has been hurt a lot. Thinking until now why the Management has to punish them like that even if they know from themselves that they did not commit any violation.
We like to call your attention to seek justice not only to these detained employees, but to the rest of the QCSC regular employees experiencing harassment in some ways.
