I've said it before and I will definitely repeat myself proudly at this point. When it comes to classics, the Jag's and indeed in this case the Daimler's stand head and shoulders above anything of the same era. Take for instance this simply beautiful example of one of the best of British. That 5.3 litre V12 engine sounds better than most acoustically tuned lumps of today and is normally aspirated with no trick exhaust system in sight. the finish and level of comfort offered by the vehicle when you are driven around in it 9as is the way) is just magnificent.
