KUALA LUMPUR, 21 June 2023 – Fans of the popular Japanese superhero series created by Eiji Tsuburaya, Ultraman, can look forward to the special appearance of the cast from the franchise, namely Ultraman Trigger, Ultraman Decker, and Ichika Kirino. They will make a Live Show & Cast Talk session on 25 June at the Ultraman Decker Final Tour: Journey to Blazar at Lalaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

In partnership between Astro Malaysia, Tsuburaya Productions and Lalaport Kuala Lumpur, this event will be the first ever Ultraman fan event held in Malaysia with the aim to boost viewership of this beloved Japanese superhero series, particularly amongst children and teenagers.
Adding to the excitement, this event will also introduce its new series Ultraman Blazar for the very first time in Malaysia. To commemorate this occasion, a press conference will be held featuring cast members from the popular franchise, namely Hiroki Matsumoto (Kanata Asumi), Raiga Terasaka (Kengo Manaka) and Yuka Murayama (Ichika Kirino) as well as representatives from Astro (Farah Fauzana, Astro's Head of Kids Content) and Tsuburaya Productions (Mr. Kei Minamitani, Executive Manager of International Business Department).

Ultraman Blazar features Ultraman Blazar, a new hero originating from an extragalactic astronomical object far from Earth. Meanwhile, Gento Hiruma, the captain of the Special Kaiju Reaction Detachment (SKaRD) established by the Global Guardian Force (GGF) joins forces with Ultraman Blazar to combat the destruction caused by Kaiju Bazanga, a monster wreaking increasing havoc on Earth. This series stars Tomoya Warabino and Himena Tsukimiya.

Additionally, this event also provides a variety of exciting activities for both children and parents such as an Ultraman pop-up store, inflatable playground for kids to enjoy, photo session and Meet & Greet opportunities with various Ultraman. Visitors can also look forward to an exhibition featuring Ultraman-themed costumes, Ultraman and Kaiju sculptures throughout Lalaport Kuala Lumpur, screenings of the Ultraman series as well as thrilling performances by the attending cast members.

Appearance from popular Malaysian actor, Wafiy will also add to the excitement as he promotes the latest series Ultraman Blazar alongside Hiroki, Raga, Yuka and their fans.

Furthermore, Astro customers can get premier screening tickets for the latest Ultraman movie, Meet & Greet passes and exclusive Ultraman Decker merchandise for free when they redeem them on the MyAstro app from 7 June to 25 June. Redemption of codes is limited; each customer can only redeem up to four screening tickets and four Meet & Greet passes. Ultraman Decker Final Tour: Journey to Blazar takes place from 10 June to 2 July 2023 at Lalaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, Kuala Lumpur, from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm. The press conference for their latest series, Ultraman Blazar will be held on 25 June 2023 at 1.00 pm. Meanwhile, the Live Show & Cast Talk with the cast, namely Hiroki Matsumoto (Kanata Asumi), Raiga Terasaka (Kengo Manaka) and Yuka Murayama (Ichika Kirino) will be held in two sessions on 25 June 2023, at 12.30 pm and 4.00 pm. Visitors stand a chance to receive exclusive Ultraman Decker merchandise and the opportunity to meet the cast members, as well as a range of attractive prizes from Astro at this event.
