For the fourth consecutive year, East Rand Mall partnered with Stop Hunger Now SA as part of their Mandela Day initiative.

East Rand Mall partnered with a number of local businesses raised a total of R51 500 which was used to purchase the ingredients for the meal packs from Stop Hunger Now SA. A total of 18 889 meals (89 boxes) were packed and approximately 200 volunteers contributed their 67 minutes on the day.
