With the most breweries per capita of any US city, they’re setting the standard not only for your traditional craft brew, but also for more exotic ferments like sour beer, sake, ginger beer, and kombucha.

The sake at Ben’s Tune Up gets an Asheville twist; they brew it with Great Smoky Mountains water and American rice. Buchi Kombucha recently moved their HQ to Marshall, NC—30 minutes outside of Asheville—and focuses on community, sustainability, and health. Whatever your tastes, Asheville can quench them.
