Video log of a visit to Paint Creek in Allamakee County on Monday, May 6, 2024. Paint Creek contains wild brown trout, as well as stocked and holdover rainbow trout.

Once again I had the pleasure of fishing with my good friend Dre from the Rod & Rivet fly fishing shop in Decorah. We continued our exploration of new water on this creek. This video log represents a half-mile segment upstream from that fished in early February (Vlog #51).

Although the skies were bright, the improved flow and slight stain to the water from recent rains made for superb tenkara conditions.
