DJI Mavic air features and specification
DJI have taken the best features of the Mavic Pro and combined them with the size of the Spark, creating a compact, but powerful drone that gives way for capturing those moments of adventure in ways that you couldn't hope to before. With a new 3-axis gimbal and 4K camera, the DJI Mavic Air captures at an incredible quality, recording at 100mbps and 30 fps, bringing your trips outdoors to screens in UHD. With such high fidelity on the camera, the Mavic Air's slow-motion video provides a speed of 120 fps to produce stunning, awe-inspiring footage.

BRILLIANT PHOTOS AND VIDEOS STORED ON THE DRONE
Even the Air's photos are a step above the rest, with new HDR algorithms let you capture colours as they were supposed to be seen, while the camera itself will shoot 12MP stills. There's not even a need to use an SD Card, as the Mavic Air comes with 8GB of internal storage onboard.
With the 3-axis gimbal, the drone can shoot beautiful 32MP Sphere Panoramas, giving you a unique view of the world and one that can be viewed through DJI's goggles. The Panorama feature stitches together 25 photos seamlessly and in just 8 seconds,
giving you or friends a view that's simply breath-taking.

PROTECTED AND PORTABLE
DJI's design for the Mavic Air protects the onboard camera and gimbal, while also being elegant and efficient. The drone has vents to dissipate heat, while the chassis is aerodynamic for smooth flights. To allow you to capture moments wherever and whenever you feel, the DJI Mavic Air is foldable for portability and so is the controller.

QUICKSHOTS? UNIQUE SHOTS
QuickShots allow you create amazing moments through DJI's app. Six different options are available, like Asteroid, which swings the drone down on a point, creating a wonderful looking video.
activetrack
HANDS FREE WITH ACTIVETRACK
The Air features ActiveTrack, which will allow the drone to follow you around, so that you don't have to baby the drone whenever you're walking. It can also be used to create amazing action shots, especially when your hands aren't free to guide the drone.
SMARTCAPTURE AND TAPFLY
The Mavic Air also supports DJI's SmartCapture, allowing you to take selfies or control the drone through hand gestures. The app also allows you to use TapFly, which does exactly as it says on the tin.

DESIGNED NOT TO BREAK ITSELF
To keep the drone protected, DJI have implemented advanced Visual Inertial Odometry technology. This allows the drone to sense its surroundings to prevent crashes. Achieved through infrared, IMU and a group of computing cores, the Air's FlightAutonomy 2.0 keeps the drone stable and safe from crashes. Because of its sensors, it builds a 3D Map to navigate, while also utilising an inbuilt Advanced Pilot Assistance, allowing it to bypass obstacles automatically. All of this and the Mavic Air will stay in flight for a whopping 21 minutes, with a max speed of around 40 miles per hour. The 2.4/5.8GHz bands of Wi-Fi video transmission are nestled in the base of the propellers and allow for a 720p live view.
