How to Begin Sketching a Skull (Pencils)

There is no audio as I needed to create a short video in a loud environment. This short tutorial is designed to show how I start sketching a skull by using guidelines and basic shapes. Repetition is key and I like to simplify as much as possible.

The main features of the skull are sketched. This is the most basic skull I have made that is still close to a realistic skull. At the end of this video I change the skull just a bit to make it look meaner for a fictional/fantasy look. The next video tutorial will be on shading this skull. Practice is essential if you want to improve with your drawing. Plus it's fun to draw every day! Enjoy!!
