KUNV Radio is a public radio station broadcasting on the campus of UNLV for more than forty years. KUNV Radio has a high definition (HD) radio transmitter that allows for multi-platform network programming. Airing award-winning musical content and locally produced programs to all areas of Southern Nevada and beyond.

Our reach extends in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City (with some listenership in adjoining cities and towns). Our academic faculty and experienced team of professionals is best suited to provide timely, contextual and relevant information to an audience hungry for entertainment news, music and connectivity. In addition, special guests from our partners at NPR and the Nevada Independent round out our coverage with important national and global perspectives. Loyal listeners also turn to long running Hawaiian music program The Little Grass Shack; weekly Sunday night eclectic musical radio favorite The Lyon’s Den and the sound of Reggae Happenings.
