Hi Everyone! Today I am featuring a tree that I've wanted to acquire for some time now - the Australian Bottle Tree. I finally got it! I have it all potted up and my goal is to turn it into a beautiful bonsai specimen tree. I hope you enjoy the video!

About Brachychiton rupestris:
It is a tree in the family Malvaceae, endemic to Queensland, Australia. Described by Sir Thomas Mitchell and John Lindley in 1848, it earned its name from its bulbous trunk.

Grows up to 20-40 ft.
Easily grown in well-drained soils in full sun with moderate to little irrigation
Feed the trees once a year with balanced 10-10-10 fertilizer in the spring.
No serious disease or pest issues.
Propagate by seed
