TOP 2 BANDS THAT RITCHIE BLACKMORE HATED

Ritchie Blackmore is one of rock's most legendary guitarists, best known for his contributions to Deep Purple and Rainbow. With his distinctive fusion of classical music and heavy rock, he played a pivotal role in defining the sound of a generation.
Dubbed "the man in black," Blackmore is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential guitarists in the realms of hard rock and heavy metal. He began his career in the early 60s as a session musician for producer Joe Meek while playing with various bands, including "The Outlaws." In 1968, Blackmore co-founded "Deep Purple" with keyboardist Jon Lord after receiving an invitation from drummer and singer Chris Curtis. However, after the release of the 1974 album "Stormbringer," Blackmore publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with the band's musical direction, particularly its inclusion of funk and soul elements. After departing Deep Purple in 1975, Blackmore formed the hard rock band Rainbow, which blended baroque music influences with elements of hard rock. His work with Rainbow, as well as his iconic riffs and solos with Deep Purple, are now etched in Rock and Roll history. He has inspired countless musicians and contributed to millions of record sales with both Deep Purple and Rainbow. Given his long and illustrious career, it's no surprise that he has strong opinions about other bands—and he’s never been afraid to voice them. Here are two bands he hated the most.
