In this video I wanted to show how I repair terracotta sculptures. Although terracotta is a very good, durable and for me, a noble material that has a lot of qualities, it may break. If you are starting as a sculptor, you may notice it is the most sensitive before firing. After firing, it can endure centuries and more.

However, it was very suitable for me for the sculpture to break. I wanted the figurines to have a bit of signs of being worn out by time and such; you may understand if you have been following the story of Venus figurines.

Yet, to display them, I wanted to have them reconstructed and I made this video if it can help anyone - if you are starting as a sculptor, antiques collector or if you are trying to make your own art collection and the artist you bought the piece from does not respond or lives to far to fix it. (Also - however it may break - always ask the artist for help first)
