GSA Webinar with Guest Khaki Rodway from Dawn Aerospace
The Dawn Mk-II Aurora: A New Model in Suborbital Space Flight

Horizontal spaceport operators won't want to miss this webinar discussion with Dawn Aerospace's Khaki Rodway. The Mk-II Aurora is Dawn Aerospace’s first vehicle on the path to building a scalable, sustainable space transportation network. This talk examines the potential of this remotely piloted, reusable suborbital vehicle operating from multiple spaceports around the world. We will discuss the Mk-II's capabilities and how it can be used for scientific research, technology development, and education in partnership with local communities, including schools, industry, and workforce development initiatives to shape regional space-based economies.

ABOUT KHAKI RODWAY
Khaki Rodway is the Spaceplane Sales & Operations Director (USA) for Dawn Aerospace. Her role involves bringing to market the Dawn Mk-II Aurora, a rocket-powered spaceplane, for research, education, and commercial operations in the United States.

ABOUT DAWN AEROSPACE
The Mk-II Aurora is Dawn Aerospace's first entry into the suborbital frontier and the first-stage demonstrator for their two-stage-to-orbit vehicle. The commercial version of this remotely-piloted, reusable rocket plane is designed to fly multiple times a day from a runway. The Mk-II will take off horizontally, fly a parabolic trajectory at Mach 3+, and glide back to a horizontal landing at the originating site or downrange. The vehicle’s 3U volume can contain and expose payloads in the upper atmosphere. It is a flexible platform with various mission possibilities, including aeronomy, earth observation, education, in-space science, space weather, and technology development. The Mk-II is the first in a series of vehicles that will merge the world of rockets and aviation to access space in a new way.
