The P 80 Shooting Star was the first jet aircraft that was used operationally by the USAAC in World War II. It saw limited service in the war though, being used only shortly in Italy before the end of hostilities there. The F-80C was a major Production version, fitted with an updated Engine, Ejector Seats, and wingtip tanks.

This looks like a very simple build, there are a few problems with pins that have to be cleaned up but it looks pretty detailed nonetheless. I would say it is worth the build and its not all that expensive. There is some aftermarket available which you can find here.
