Faye Donald was born and raised in Yorkshire in the North of England and is a Registered Dental Hygienist currently practicing in the UK. After graduating from Leeds University Dental Hospital in 2001, she went on to complete the National Certificate in Counselling Skills & Behavioural Therapy NCFE level 2. After 16 years in clinical practice, Faye underwent further training in Switzerland at the Swiss Dental Academy to become a certified SDA trainer and now lectures both nationally and internationally on the role of AIRFLOW® and Guided Biofilm Therapy® in Dental Prophylaxis.

Faye is an experienced and highly motivated Dental Hygienist dedicated to providing an exceptionally high standard of care who prides herself on her patient centred approach to prevention.
Her special interest lays in minimally invasive treatment and she routinely practices GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) using AIRFLOW® and No Pain technology to treat her patients. Faye is also chairperson for the North East BSDHT (British Society for Dental Hygiene and Therapy) where she is actively involved in supporting her peers and driving forwards standards within her industry.

It was Faye’s work ethos and unwavering commitment to improving the oral health and general wellbeing of every patient she treated that secured her national award recognition when in 2013 when she was crowned ‘Best Hygienist’ at the DH&T National Industry Awards. Not long after in 2015 she was crowned ‘UK’s Dental Hygienist of The Year’ and in 2017 was again crowned winner of ‘UK Best hygienist’ at the National Oral Health Awards.
