This week on the Africa Leadership Dialogues, we feature James Mwangi, Executive Director, Dalberg, a collection of impact-driven businesses that seek to champion inclusive and sustainable growth around the world.

Dalberg’s clients’ portfolio range from heads of states to senior leaders of multilateral organizations and foundations. Prior to this, he worked at McKinsey and Company in New York, serving clients mostly in the financial services sector.

He holds an Honours Degree in Economics from Havard University. As a consultant, he has advised senior public, private and social sector leaders on issues of inclusive and sustainable growth frontier markets, particularly in Africa. James is a 2009 Archbishop Tutu Leadership Fellow and serves as a member of the Board, African Leadership Institute. He is also a Member of United Nations Global Entrepreneurs Council.

In addition, he is 2013 Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum and currently serves on the program advisory committee of the Clinton Global Initiative.
