At approximately 9:02 p.m. on December 13th, 2025, Houston Police Department units responded to reports of a motorcycle crash on eastbound Memorial Drive, just east of Waugh Drive.

According to radio traffic, two riders were on the motorcycle at the time of the crash. HPD’s Vehicular Crimes Division was requested to respond, as the incident may involve a fatality.

Eastbound lanes of Memorial Drive were shut down while officers worked the scene and conducted their investigation. No official information regarding the condition of the riders has been released at this time.

This remains a developing situation. Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
