Today we are comparing the wonderful and budget-friendly Epiphone Slash Les Paul Anaconda Burst with a Epiphone Slash Appetite Burst equipped with Slash's official signature pickups: the Seymour Duncan Slash Alnico II Pro humbuckers. Which one sounds better? No, that's not the question. We know the Seymour Duncan ones will sound better, but how much better?

Or rather: how close to the Slash sound the Epiphone stock pickups can get you, in comparison with the very pickups Slash uses on all his Les Pauls?
