In the heart of the historic Brandywine Valley near Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, Longwood Gardens stands as a true testament to how creativity coupled with enlightened innovation can transform simple natural pleasures into a legacy of grandeur and veneration. In 1906 Pierre Du Pont purchased a family farm and, with his brilliance and dedication, transformed it into what is now one of the premier horticultural display gardens in the world.

Du Pont’s masterpiece was undoubtedly the Main Fountain Garden, though, and Crystal was honored to collaborate with Fluidity Design Consultants and the rest of the incredible team to help it ‘Reach New Heights’ through a 90$ million revitalization. Crystal was entrusted to develop new RGBACL lighting technology for the garden, matching historically significant colors and granting the ability to display pantones never seen before in a water-feature display. The infinite shades and tones perfectly compliment the dancing water and surrounding landscape architecture, sweeping the garden into the 21st century with Du Pont’s original vision still intact. With all the latest in fountain technology, there is no doubt that the revitalized Garden will continue to dazzle guest for years to come.
