Elections for the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly took place from September 18 to October 1, 2024, across three phases. The results were announced on October 8, revealing that the INDIA alliance, which includes the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), Indian National Congress (INC), and Communist Party of India (Marxist), secured a majority by winning 49 out of 90 seats.
