Apple II, 1977 [startup]: Shared with all other Apple II series except for the IIc, IIGS and IIc Plus.
Macintosh (128K), 1984 [startup]: Shared with the Macintosh 512K/e, Plus, SE and Classic.
Apple IIc, 1984 [startup]: Used its own sound.
Apple IIGS, 1986 [startup]: Used its own sound.
Macintosh II, 1987: Both sounds shared with the IIx. Startup also shared with the SE/30, IIcx, IIci, Portable, IIfx, IIsi and PowerBook 100 and produced by Mark Lentczner.
Apple IIc Plus, 1988 [startup]: Used its own sound.
Macintosh SE/30, 1989 [crash]: Shared with the IIcx, IIci, Portable, IIsi and PowerBook 100.
Macintosh IIfx, 1990 [crash]: Used its own sound.
Macintosh LC, 1990: Shared with the Classic II, LC II, Performa 200, 400, 405, 410 and 430.

Macintosh Quadra 840AV and Centris/Quadra 660AV, 1993: Used their own sounds - the startup being Jim Reekes' original ‘bong’.
Power Macintosh 6100 + 7100 + 8100, 1994: Shared with the Workgroup Server 9150. Startup composed and recorded by Stanley Jordan.
Power Macintosh 5200 LC, 1995: Startup sound became of all other Power Macintosh/Performa 5000/6000 series with LC-PDS slots. Crash sound shared with the Power Macintosh 5300 LC and Performa 5200CD.
Power Macintosh 6200, 1995 [crash]: Shared with the Power Macintosh 5260 and 6300 and other Performa 5000/6000 series with LC-PDS slots.
Power Macintosh 9500, 1995: Startup is the return of the Centris/Quadra AV sound in a lower pitch, becoming of all other Old World ROM PCI PowerPC Macintoshes, the PowerBook 190(cs), 5300(c({s/e})), Duo 2300c, 1400c(s), 3400c, 2400c and G3 Kanga. Crash sound shared with all other Old World ROM PCI PowerPC Macintoshes, the PowerBook 3400c, 2400c and G3 Kanga.
PowerBook 190(cs) and 5300(c({s/e})), 1995 [crash]: Also used on the PowerBook Duo 2300c and 1400c(s).
Newton MessagePad 2000, 1996 [startup]: Also used on the MessagePad 2100 and eMate 300, but disabled by default.
20th Anniversary Macintosh, 1997 [startup]: Used its own sound.
PowerBook G3 Mainstreet/Wallstreet, 1998 [startup]: Used their own sound.
iMac G3, 1998 [startup]: Officially debuted with this model, becoming of all new-world Macs released before the 2016 MacBook Pro.
iMac Pro, 2017 [startup]: Current startup sound for Macs that support macOS Big Sur or later (originally for those released since this model with a T2 security chip and running macOS Catalina).
