We Discover The Magic Of Wales (Didn't Expect This) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

👋🏼 Welcome to Wales, a breathtaking and beautiful country that often flies a little under the radar when it comes to travel destinations.

Having already explored the vibrant cities of Cardiff and Swansea, we felt it was time to leave them behind and head in to. the Welsh countryside to discover what else this spectacular place has to offer and we were not disappointed.

Day 1 sees us head to the hidden gem of Penllergare Woods, a valley oasis filled with tranquil woodland walks, spectacular waterfalls and an abundance of wildlife BUT we got far more than we bargained for and it turned in to an adventure we will not forget in a hurry. Afterwards we paid a visit to the town of Llandeilo with its brightly coloured buildings and sweeping river views. We treated ourselves to some incredible doughnuts!

Day 2 sees us head to the Welsh coastal town of Porthcawl. We hadn't heard great things but we were pleasantly surprised by this harbour town that is home to sweeping sand dunes and golden stretches of beach as well as rocky bays and the classic British seaside of funfairs, donkey rides and naff gift shops all in one place!

We also chose a fantastic AirBnB for our stay, on a farm right in the heart of the Welsh valleys which provided the perfect retreat after a day exploring.
