Toby Rowland is one of the more talented play x play voices and storytellers in all of college football. He was once a storyteller for the CBS affiliate in Oklahoma City and seamlessly transitioned into his role on the Oklahoma Sooners broadcast team and later succeeded Bob Barry, Senior as the voice of the Sooners.

Four years ago he authored a childrens book called, Unhitched the Wagon and recently released his latest OU themed childrens book, Put the Ponies in the Barn. Both titles are rooted his one-liners he uses in calling OU football games.

This summer has been active for Rowland. But, he suffered a health setback which resulted in having one of his kidneys removed. Toby is back in good health just in time to call Oklahoma Sooner football games.
