ATV Sprayer Battery Installation MISTAKE you should avoid!

Do you use an ATV sprayer for deer food plots? How about an ATV seeder for planting micro food plots for deer? Any other ATV attachments? If so, then check out today's episode to learn from my mistakes when it comes to using ATV implements or ATV attachments. Oh, and the same can be said about UTV sprayers and UTV 12v attachments as well. For years I have been using ATV seeders and ATV sprayers for all of my land management projects and my food plots for deer and other wildlife habitat improvement projects. And for years I have 'gotten by' with using just a stripped wire end attached to the ATV or UTV battery. But recently it caught up to me with my 2023 Can Am Outlander XT850 ATV as I have been having electrical issues with my new ATV. What was happening was my Can Am XT850 ATV power steering has been acting funny by cutting in and out sporadically, and most recently my fuel guage was showing an error reading but only very infrequently. So since I was due for my 50 hour service I took in my 2023 Can Am Outlander XT850 ATV for service and had them check the error codes and why the power steering was acting funny. In a nutshell, my battery tender wires that I used for my ATV sprayer unit had vibrated loose just a little, but enough to cause voltage drops to the fuel sensor and the power steering unit. All of these newer ATV units have mutliple voltage sensors on them that older units never had. So since my stripped wire ends were secured directly to the battery, over time with the vibration, they came loose and while still connected, caused slight voltage drops with the voltage sensors it started causing the ATV to not perform normally. So in today's episode we are going to overhall my ATV sprayer 12v batter connections and install a permanent fix to avoid these problems in the future.
