In this two-part video series, I’m bringing my Asuna Sunfire back to life after it broke down last summer due to leaking fuel injectors that flooded the cylinders. It’s time to work on reviving the car for the second time and getting it back on the road.

In Part 1, I’ll walk you through the process of preparing the car, giving it a thorough wash, and getting the non-driving car up on the lift for the repairs. The car has been sitting for a while, and it’s crucial to get it ready for the next steps.

In Part 2, we dive into the full replacement and installation of the new fuel injectors. During the process, I briefly debate whether to remove the valve cover or the intake plenum, but ultimately, I find that removing the intake plenum is the much easier and more efficient method. I’ll show you how to do it step-by-step to ensure a successful fuel injector replacement.
